Frequently Asked Questions

Planning your Nikah in Istanbul? Find answers to the most common questions from our couples around the world.

⚖ Legal & General Information

Yes, absolutely. Istanbul is one of the world’s top destinations for international couples. Foreigners and tourists can easily have an Islamic Nikah ceremony here. We handle all local arrangements — from mosque bookings to official coordination — so you can focus entirely on your special day.

For a purely religious Islamic Nikah, you generally only need your valid passports. However, if you wish to register a legally binding Civil Marriage in Turkey alongside the ceremony, you will also need international birth certificates, certificates of celibacy, and local medical reports. Our team guides you through every step.

An Islamic Nikah certificate is a religious document and holds deep spiritual and personal value. Most countries, however, require a civil marriage certificate for legal recognition. If you need international legal status for your marriage, we highly recommend our Combined Civil & Religious Package, which covers both.

🕌 Venues & Wedding Photography

Yes. We organize ceremonies in Istanbul’s most iconic and breathtaking historic venues, including the Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet), Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, Grand Çamlıca Mosque, and the stunning beachfront Ortaköy Mosque. We help you select the one that best reflects your vision and spiritual connection.
Yes, but historic mosques have strict rules regarding respect, dress codes, and prayer times. Our team consists of experienced, local wedding photographers who know the exact regulations, best lighting, and permitted angles — ensuring stunning, reverent images without disrupting the sanctity of the holy space.
Yes — destination photography is a core part of our packages. After the mosque ceremony, we guide you to Istanbul’s most photogenic locations, such as the historic streets of Balat, the iconic Galata district, or a private Bosphorus yacht sunset session, to capture your official wedding portraits in unforgettable settings.

📅 Booking & Logistics

Yes. To ensure you fully understand and connect with every moment of your ceremony, we provide multilingual services. Our coordinators and official translators support English, Arabic, and Persian, ensuring clear communication and a deeply meaningful experience for couples from around the world.
To secure your preferred historic mosque, professional photo team, and desired time slot, we recommend booking at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance. For high-season dates — particularly Spring (April–June) and Autumn (September–November) — booking 2 months ahead is strongly advised to guarantee availability.
